Our story of restoring sacred sites in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta has been spiritually guided by approximately 16 mamos residing in the highlands of the Sierra. Over the past four years, a profound teaching of the ancestral natural order has emerged: the healing of Mother Earth must be understood as the reconstruction of a single body composed of nine parts. This is a body of Golden quality, where the activation and spiritual work of the mamos across nine sacred sites in the Sierra are interconnected and systematically aligned for the benefit and well-being of the entire world.

This methodology has been developed through The Sun Project, where the underlying logic of the kogi or kággaba ancestral knowledge has been revealed through sustained follow-up of the mamos’ internal spiritual consultations. These consultations have guided the evolution of the healing process of Mother Earth, understood in its dimension as a Golden Body.

Today, the first three restored territories have sparked a movement of unification among the kággaba spiritual authorities in the Río Ancho mountain basin. This movement supports not only the recovery of sacred sites but also the strengthening of a rich compendium of ancestral practices and wisdom of the mamos and sanhas. These include spiritual consultation, spiritual payments (pagamentos), sacred dances, the research of the ancestral chants associated with each sacred site, the ceremonial activation of the gold artifacts that reside in the Gold Museum in Bogotá, and the activation of a sacred staff that will strongly sustain this work. This has led to the development of clear and precise steps that promote coordinated action between the Elder Brothers and the Younger Brothers.
