This unique event brings together ancestral wisdom and the living traditions of Mongolian shamanism, offering a rare opportunity to connect with the spirit of the Land of the Blue Sky.
The gathering will open with Shamans Directory Member Céline Roche, Founder of Voyage Céleste. Céline has traveled extensively through Mongolia and accompanies groups on immersive journeys across the vast steppes, where the sky stretches endlessly, and the land speaks through silence and wind.
Through her long-standing relationship with the country and its people, she will share insights into Mongolia’s history, geography, and cultural landscape, woven together with reflections from her personal experiences and past journeys. Her offering provides a grounded and heartfelt doorway into Mongolian culture and spirit.
Céline will also speak about a unique and powerful upcoming opportunity: In the Asian calendar, 2026 marks the Year of the Fire Horse, a cycle that returns only once every 60 years. On this extraordinary occasion, Grandmother Chinggis Ayangat, a world-renowned shaman, author, and founder of Gerliin Urguu, together with Nomingerel Battugs and their shamanic community, will hold a Summer Solstice Ceremony, gathering hundreds of shamans from many countries. This will be an exceptional journey for those who feel the call to visit Mongolia and walk the sacred lands.
Following this introduction, we are honored to welcome Nomingerel Battugs, a Mongolian shaman rooted in ancestral lineage and spiritual transmission. Having studied for more than ten years with Grandmother Ayangat, Nomingerel will share teachings from the Mongolian shamanic path — a tradition shaped by the spirits of the land, the ancestors, and the deep, reciprocal relationship between humans and nature.

“Goddess, Queens, and Spirit Women” Saturday, August 23 · 1 – 4pm PT
“This workshop offers a blend of cultural history, sacred art, ritual practices, and spiritual self-examination.
Yeye Teish shares stories of the Goddesses from her latest book “A Calabash of Cowries: Ancient Wisdom for Modern Times.” We examine how the energy of the Divine Feminine functioned in the Great Queens. We witness how spiritual power moved through them, enabling them to throw off the yokes of oppression and to change the course of human history.
Come meet three dynamic women, our guest speakers. Iya Oloruntomi, the creator of Shyne, a Black women’s healing group. Onyi, a womb healer and labyrinth facilitator, and Cesily, who conducts rites of passage for young women. Connect with them for future relationships.
Most importantly, we will reveal the Queen that lives in you and provide exercises to ignite the power of the Divine Feminine in your life. While this workshop concentrates on the Goddesses of the African diaspora, we will draw examples from the four directions. Everyone is welcome.
